Queens Grant // Chesterfield County
This particular upscale single family neighborhood located in the Robious Road corridor of Chesterfield County along with Founders Bridge, Salisbury/Rosemont and Tarrington on the James, account for most of what is termed the “Gold Coast” of Chesterfield County. Queens Grant is actually the high-end neighborhood of the River Downs community. Many of the area’s top custom builders have constructed homes in this neighborhood starting around 2003.
The Queens Grant neighborhood, from a topographical perspective, has some of the most interesting vistas in all of the greater Richmond area. In some cases views all the way to the other side of the James River are possible from some of the homes. The top rated Chesterfield County schools that this community feeds into are a large drawing card, similar to Founders Bridge and Salisbury and easy access to Route 288 allows residents to be within 15 - 20 minutes to downtown or the fashionable West End of Richmond.
Homes in Queens Grant begin at roughly 4,500 square foot with some as large as 7,000 square feet. The sloping terrain created a favorable environment for basements and a high percentage of the homes in Queens Grant have them.
