Wyndham // Henrico County + Glen Allen
In the early 1990’s, The NW quadrant of Henrico County (Glen Allen) looked nothing like it does today.
The Innsbrook office park was just beginning to reshape the Richmond landscape and spawn massive residential growth along the Nuckols, Pouncy Tract and Cox/Church corridor. Wyndham, located off Nuckols Road and minutes from Innsbrook, had an effect of Richmond that few developments have ever had.
Wyndham is a 1000+ home planned community surrounding the private Dominion Club that offers housing as small as 1400 SF in some sections to over 5000 SF along the lake and golf course. Built during the 10-15 year period of the early 1990’s to middle 2000’s, Wyndham’s housing designs largely feature ‘Transitional’ styled homes like so many other neighborhoods of the era.
With the elementary school located within the neighborhood and an amenity package unrivaled in the marketplace, Wyndham is largely self-contained for a suburban development. Many residents tend to move within the different Wyndham neighborhoods based on size of the home, need and family life cycle.
